Adhesives

Hot Stuff

Hot Stuff cyanoacrylate instant glues can be used for a variety of applications including:  stone mounting, crystal repair, inlay, dopping, and fracture sealing.  Hot Stuff dries clear and will buff to a high polish using typical stone polishing methods. 

Super T is a thicker version of hot stuff used for filling gaps. 

NCF Accelerator

A bond accelerator for all cyanoacrylate glues.  Especially useful when more than a drop of glue is needed, to produce an instant bond.                

Super Solvent

Solvent for all cyanoacrylate adhesives including Hot Stuff, Super Glue etc.  Great for dop removal or cleaning up mistakes.   

5-Minute Epoxy

Great strength in a quick drying formula.  Dries water clear in 4 - 6 minutes.     

Epoxy 330

Two part, clear drying epoxy.  Great for stone mounting or assembling doublets and triplets.  Hardens in about 1 hour.

Attack

Solvent which dissolves cured epoxy resins.  Use for removing stones from mountings and for cleaning up mistakes. 

G-S Hypo Cement

Instant cement with a pin-point precision applicator.  Great for watch crystals and many other uses.  Great for strengthening knots in bead stringing.   

Bond 527

Great all-purpose craft and lapidary cement.  Use on stone, metal, glass, plastic, etc.  Dries clear and is slightly flexible. 

Opticon

A special resin used to fill fractures in stones. Great for petrified wood slabs and other material that may not remain stable during polishing.

3M Disc Adhesive

Pressure sensitive adhesive used to apply sanding and polishing discs to polishing heads.  Discs can then be peeled off and applied later.      

Dop Wax

Green dop wax used for holding stones on a dop stick to make it easier to work them.  Softens at 150F.  This has been the industry standard for decades. 

Faceters Dop Wax

A higher temperature wax used where maximum holding power is desired.  Higher shellac content gives a secure bond.
